As a board-certified Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Smita truly believes that healthy skin is the key to aging gracefully. We often get caught up on the latest trendy facials and procedures, both surgical and non-surgical, and while these are great adjuncts, they don’t replace daily skin care. Without a healthy foundation, the results of these treatments can be transient and limited.

Unfortunately, many of the products that we turn to do not have the necessary concentrations of the active ingredients to be truly efficacious. While they certainly leave your skin feeling soft, as the majority are packed with moisturizing ingredients, they do not actually make your skin healthy from within.

Throughout her career, Dr. Smita recognized the gap in available skin care on the market and created her line, Dr. Smita, with this in mind. Using her experience as a Plastic Surgeon and IT Cosmetic Advisory Board Member and an in-depth knowledge and understanding of skin health, she created this line that is packed with the top three ingredients that are scientifically and medically proven to improve skin health; retinol, antioxidants, and SPF. Each product is rich in these key ingredients that truly improve fine lines, wrinkles, discoloration, pores, and texture leaving skin bright, glowing, and healthy. She also noted several large gaps in effective products for eyelid and neck skin, both of which have extremely thin skin compared to other areas and show early signs of aging. Your Best Eyes Yet and Necks Level Firming Cream were created to improve the skin quality, fine lines, and hyperpigmentation in these areas.

Additionally, after years of treating her patients, the biggest hurdles they faced when using skin care products was the scent, texture, residue, and the price. It was extremely important for this line to have sunscreens that vanish into your skin without leaving a white residue or leaving you smelling like you are going to the beach when you are actually heading to work. The anti-aging serums (Dew it for the HA, Catch Some C’s, Couple Goals) are light and absorb into the skin without leaving a residue or greasy feeling. Finally, a little goes a long way with these products so while the price may be on par with other high-end skin care lines, these will last 4-6 months of use.
